No One is Always in The Zone

I call this the Always in the Zone Fallacy.

We think that mega-successful people have completely optimized every waking minute of their time in order to become successful.

We think this is an all-or-nothing situation.

We’re either working as hard as we possibly can OR we are lazy bums who will never amount to anything life.

The truth is: everyone has good and bad days. Even super successful people.

Most of the hardest working and hustling people are usually working 2-3 jobs and not very successful.

So what’s the solution?

More Time in The Zone = Better

Doesn’t have to be ALL the time. The more time you spend being in the zone, the better your productivity and output.

Some days you’ll be in the zone a lot longer than other days. Some days will feel like a complete waste.

That’s alright. Think of it like ‘taking the pressure off’ and allowing ourselves to do the best we can at that time. Some days our best will be great, some days it won’t.

Lastly, do it like Teddy Roosevelt!
